The Calming Corner, provided by CCMH's Intellectual & Developmental Disability Program, is a mobile de-escalation area that can be set up at local community events with large gatherings. Its aim is to offer a safe space for individuals, both adults and children, who may feel overwhelmed, allowing space to regulate and de-escalate without having to leave the event completely. We offer two 10x10 black tents, available for rental either together or separately, equipped with supplies like coloring books, faux fish tanks, lava lamps, weighted blankets, noise-canceling headphones, and much more!
